Will you custom blend a chemical for me?
We do not custom blend chemicals for individual customers, however we do custom blend and white label chemicals for businesses wishing to make large purchases of chemical for B2B or B2C resale. Please inquire about your specific needs and let us know your anticipated volume.
How do local chemical deliveries work?
Once the order is ready to ship, it will be scheduled for delivery in one of our vehicles. Delivery dates vary by area and you will be called the morning of delivery to let you know it’s on the truck. We can’t guarantee a specific delivery date, but we do our best to accommodate requests. We do not offer same day delivery, but you can pick up chemical from our Detroit warehouse if you have an urgent need. To pick up chemical, call in advance and place your order. We can generally have chemical ready for pick up within a few hours.
If I place an order for rollers and chain, what else do I need?
You will also need to order link pins and cotter keys with your roller and chain order. We also suggest you order slightly more chain than you need, so you have spare maintenance parts on hand.
How do I turn a quote into an order?
Once you accept the quote, you will notify us and make a 50% down payment to start the work. Once we receive your 50% down payment, your quote is turned into an order and the work will start. Please note, we will not start any work or order any products until we have the down payment applied to your order. There are no exceptions to the down payment requirement for custom or large orders. For items that we normally stock and can ship within 72 hours, we do not require a 50% down payment, however you must pay for the full cost of the order plus shipping before the order leaves our facility. Orders not paid in full will be held until payment is made.
How does shipping work?
We will contact you when your order is ready, request payment, and prepare your order for shipment. Most orders ship within two business days of paying the final balance. Once your order ships, we will send you a tracking number. Smaller orders are shipped via UPS on our account. Larger orders are shipped truck freight via a carrier of our choice. Shipping estimates can be provided upon request, but are just an estimate and the final shipping amount could be higher or lower than the quote provided. Liftgates are ordered to assist with unloading the shipment at your facility. If you do not want a liftgate, you must notify us in advance and before your order is shipped. If you choose to have us ship an order via a carrier of your choice or on your account, we are not responsible for any extra charges, delays, or problems with a shipment once it leaves our facility. Once an order leaves our facility, any delays and changes in delivery date are beyond our control and you agree we are not liable.
How do I return an item?
Any request for returns must be made within 30 days of taking delivery of your order. Returns must have an Return Merchandise Authorization form (RMA) placed in the box with the returned equipment. Any returned equipment will be inspected upon arrival at our facility. If your return is accepted, we will refund your order less a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs associated with your returned equipment are your responsibility and shipping costs you paid to Vaughan to ship the item are not refunded. We will not accept returns for any electronics, any equipment which has been used or installed, any damaged equipment, or any chemical products.
How does your warranty work?
The equipment Vaughan Industries produces is often made from a combination of Vaughan designed and engineered parts and equipment as well as equipment sourced from third party manufactures. Vaughan Industries will warranty any equipment we produce and the third party vendor will warranty any equipment they produce. Warranty length varies by equipment type and vendor. All warranties are void if the equipment is not installed and operated within specifications. We will work with he third party vendor on your behalf to facilitate warranty claims.
How do I get technical support for a product I've purchased or I'm thinking of purchasing?
Vaughan Industries has an expert team available during business hours to help you with pre and post purchase technical support. We also extend this service to any people installing our equipment at your location. We want to be sure equipment is installed properly and operating as efficiently as possible.
How does the installation process work?
Vaughan Industries does not recommend any installer or installation company. The purchaser of equipment is responsible for finding their own equipment installer and installing equipment in accordance with all local building codes.
What does Vaughan do to protect the environment?
Vaughan Industries recognizes the importance of environmental protection and will comply with all environmental regulations and appropriate codes of practice relating to the processes and activities of the company. It is the policy of Vaughan Industries to carry out all reasonable measures to continually improve its environmental performance. Wherever possible, the company aims to:
- Assess the environmental impacts of the company’s activities during the manufacture of its products.
- Train all our staff on our environmental program and empower them to contribute and participate.
- Reduce the amount of waste produced.
- Reduce the consumption of raw materials, water and fuels.
- Reduce and/or limit the discharge of pollutants to the environment.
- Use recyclable and renewable materials in place of virgin products where possible.
